Schiphorst is a municipality in the Duchy of Lauenburg district in Schleswig-Holstein (Germany) east of Hamburg .

history

In 1230 the Slavic foundation was first mentioned in the Ratzeburg tithe register . After the formation of the administrative districts in Schleswig-Holstein in 1889, Schiphorst belonged to the district of Steinhorst. After the administrative districts were dissolved and the offices were formed, Schiphorst came to the Sandesneben office in 1948 .
