Klein Zecher is a municipality in the Duchy of Lauenburg in Schleswig-Holstein . Collinghof, Hakendorf, Hinterkoppel and Marienstedt are in the municipality.

history

The village was first mentioned in a document in the Ratzeburg tithe register from 1230. In the Middle Ages there was an important Marian pilgrimage here. In 1952, the town , which was temporarily incorporated into Seedorf, regained its independence. In 1996 Klein Zecher was named “Most Beautiful Village” in the Duchy of Lauenburg.

From 1971 to 2006 the community belonged to the Gudow-Sterley office . Since the dissolution of this office on January 1, 2007, Klein Zecher has belonged to the Lauenburg Lakes Office .

politics

Of the nine seats in the municipal council, the WG community of voters has five seats since the 2008 local elections and the AWG community of voters has four. Mayor is Conrad Torkler.
