Lehmrade is a municipality in the Duchy of Lauenburg in Schleswig-Holstein . She belongs to the Breitenfelde office . Glands lies in the municipal area.

Geography and traffic

Lehmrade is located south of the Oldenburger See on the state road 287 in the Lauenburg Lakes Nature Park 6 kilometers southeast of Mölln ; the associated district Drüsen 3 km west of Lehmrade on the way to Mölln. The station and the line to Hollenbek were given up in 1959, the connection has now been dismantled.

history

The village was first mentioned in a document in the Ratzeburg tithe register from 1230. From 1948 the community belonged to the Gudow Office, which in 1971 was combined with the Sterley Office to Gudow-Sterley Office . With the dissolution of the Gudow-Sterley office, the community joined the Breitenfelde office on January 1, 2007 . In 2006/2007 a village community center was built.

Mayor, community council

Mayor is Cornelia Wagnitz. Of the nine seats in the municipal council, the BLW voter community has had six seats since the 2008 local elections and the FWL voter community three. The result was confirmed in the 2013 local elections.

economy

There has been a rehabilitation clinic on site since 1956, which also offers work to many locals. There is a campsite in the Drüsen district, which is located directly on Lake Lütau.
