Möhnsen is a municipality in the Duchy of Lauenburg in Schleswig-Holstein . Möhnsen-Bahnhof and Kätnerkamp are in the municipality.

Geography and traffic

The place is about nine kilometers northwest of Schwarzenbek . From 1887 to 1976 Möhnsen was a station on the Schwarzenbek – Bad Oldesloe railway line .

history

The village was mentioned for the first time in 1230 in the Ratzeburg tithe register . Since 1962 the community has belonged to the Schwarzenbek-Land office .

politics

Of the nine seats in the municipal council, the BFM community of voters has six seats since the 2013 local elections and the AFM-WG community of voters has three.
