history

After Prussia took possession of the Duchy of Lauenburg, the Schwarzenbek district was created in 1889 by order of the Prussian Minister of the Interior . After the administrative districts were dissolved and the offices formed, the communities formed the Schwarzenbek office . In 1962, the merger took place with the Office Basthorst to schwarzenbek-land .
