The Lauenburg Lakes Office is an office in the Duchy of Lauenburg in Schleswig-Holstein . It stretches along the Ratzeburg Lakes to the Schaalsee in the Lauenburg Lakes Nature Park . The administration of the office has its seat in the city of Ratzeburg . A branch exists in the community of Groß Grönau , which, as a suburban settlement outside the gates of the city of Lübeck, is the community with the largest population and density of the district. A citizens' office has been set up in Sterley .
Official municipalities
history
The office was formed as the Office Ratzeburg-Land with originally 18 communities. After the Gudow-Sterley office was dissolved , the municipalities of Brunsmark , Hollenbek , Horst , Klein Zecher , Salem , Seedorf and Sterley joined the office on January 1, 2007 . The office then gave itself its current name.

Note
Territorial changes between Mecklenburg and Schleswig-Holstein in 1945 , which also affect municipalities of this office, are based on the Barber-Lyaschtschenko Agreement .
