history

Until December 31, 2006, the Büchen office comprised ten communities. After the dissolution of the office of Gudow-Sterley , the municipalities of Besenthal , Göttin , Gudow and Langenlehsten joined the office on January 1, 2007 . Since April 1, 2007, the municipality of Tramm has also been part of the Büchen district.
