Carsten Lekutat

Carsten Lekutat (* 1971 in Berlin ) is a German doctor and media entrepreneur.

Life

After studying medicine in Berlin and training as a general practitioner at the Charité Berlin, the German Heart Center Berlin and several medical practices, Lekutat set up his own practice in 2000. The medical practice was accredited as a teaching practice of the Charité in 2002 and in 2006 it was converted into a general practitioner center in Tegel , which Lekutat manages.

Lekutat began his work on German television in 2001 at Sat.1 breakfast television and in the magazine Akt - Reporter Kampf für Sie . From 2006 to 2007 he moderated weekly contributions in the television magazine “Sat.1 am Mittag” under the title “Der Gesundmacher”. After the format was discontinued, Lekutat concentrated on working as a media producer for television and new media. In 2011 he appeared again as a television doctor in public at Servicezeit and Der Vorkoster . From 2012 to 2013 he was the presenter of the program Der Gesundmacher on WDR television. From August 2012, he also moderated the health magazine Fit & Healthy and the English-language magazine In Good Shape on DW-TV and, at the end of 2013, the program Get out of stress on WDR television.

From 2014 onwards, Lekutat was with his stage show Hypochondriacs must die too! on tour in Germany. Since September 2015 he has been moderating the television program Hauptsache Gesundheit on MDR television . Since 2018 his stage program has been called How Cookies Can Save Your Life .
