Carsten Wilke (politician)

Carsten Wilke (born July 4, 1972 in Berlin ) is a German politician ( CDU ). Until 2011 he was a member of the Berlin House of Representatives .

Life

Carsten Wilke completed vocational training as an electronics technician from 1989 to 1991. On the second path of education , he passed his Abitur in 1994 and did his basic military service in the Air Force from April 1995 to March 1996. This was followed by distance learning from 2003 to 2006 at the Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau , which he completed with a degree in business administration (FH). He then worked as a freelance construction project developer.

Carsten Wilke joined the CDU in 1990 and was chairman of the Wuhletal Mitte branch . From 1990 to 2003 he was the district treasurer of the Junge Union in Treptow and Treptow-Köpenick .

In the period from July 1994 to March 1995 and from December 1995 to November 2001 he was a member of the Treptow and Treptow-Köpenick district councils. From December 1999 to December 2000 he was chairman of the CDU parliamentary group there.

Carsten Wilke was a member of the Berlin House of Representatives from March 2003 to October 2006 and from November 2006 to October 2011. He replaced Christian Gräff, who left on November 30, 2006 . In parliament he was a member of the Committee on Health, Environment and Consumer Protection, the Subcommittee on Participation Management and Controlling of the Main Committee, the Subcommittee on Budgetary Control of the Main Committee and the Committee on Building and Housing.

Since October 27, 2011 he has been chairman of the CDU parliamentary group in the district assembly of Marzahn-Hellersdorf .
