The Carstensfjella ( Norwegian ) is a 9 km long mountain range on the Crown Prince Olav coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It extends from Cape Begichev in an easterly direction.
Norwegian scientists named it after the Norwegian polar explorer Carsten Egeberg Borchgrevink (1864-1934), leader of the Southern Cross Expedition (1898-1900).
