Casa Valentina is a play by Harvey Fierstein , which premiered on Broadway in April 2014 and was also performed in London from September 2015. He tells the story of some men who spend their weekends on a remote property near New York in order to be able to move around undisturbed in women's clothing.

Casa Valentina premiered unofficially on April 1, 2014 and officially premiered on April 23, 2014 at the Samuel J. Friedman Theater , part of the Manhattan Theater Club . The play made its London debut at the Southwark Playhouse on September 10, 2015 and then ran continuously from October 10. The film was directed by Luke Sheppard and the cast consisted of Tamsin Carroll (Rita), Ben Deery (Miranda), Charlie Hayes (Eleanor), Bruce Montague (Terry), Robert Morgan (Amy), Matt Rixon (Bessie), Ashley Robinson (Gloria ), Gareth Snook (Charlotte) and Edward Wolstenholme as Valentina.

The content of the play was designed according to the events on which the illustrated book "Casa Susanna" (published in 2005 by Michel Hurst and Robert Swope) is based. This picture collection, a find at a New York flea market, shows life on the secluded property of Susanna (Tito) and Marie Valenti in the Catskill Mountains called Casa Susanna , which was a popular meeting place for transvestites in the early 1960s could move freely.
