Casablanca is a municipality in Chile . It is located in the coastal cordillera, about 40 km southeast of the port city of Valparaíso . Around 22,000 people live in the municipal area of 952 km 2 , around 14,000 of them in the urban center. The economic activities in the municipality are concentrated in agriculture and forestry.
