Casarabe (also: Casaraóe ) is a town in the Beni department in the Amazon lowlands of the South American landlocked state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
Casarabe is the second largest town in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) of Trinidad in the province of Cercado . The municipality is located at an altitude of 169 m on the left, western bank of the Río Cocharca , a tributary of the Río Iparupuno .

Casarabe has a tropical hot and humid climate all year round .
The annual average temperature is 26.2 ° C, with the monthly average temperatures between June / July at a good 23 ° C and October / December at just under 28 ° C (see climate diagram Trinidad). The annual precipitation is almost 2000 mm and is therefore more than twice as high as the precipitation in Central Europe. Maximum values of around 300 mm in the months of December to February contrast with low values of around 50 mm in July / August.

Transport network
Casarabe is located at a distance of 51 kilometers by road east of Trinidad , the capital of the department.
Trinidad is the intersection of the national highways Ruta 3 and Ruta 9 . The Ruta 9 crosses the entire Bolivian lowlands from north to south and leads from Trinidad via Casarabe to the metropolis of Santa Cruz, 477 kilometers south .
