The Cascade Creek is a right tributary of the Animas River in the extreme northwest of San Juan County and La Plata County in Colorado in the United States.

The river arises above the tree line on the west flank of Rolling Mountain in the San Juan National Forrest , just a few hundred meters east-southeast of the point where San Juan, San Miguel and Dolores Counties meet. It initially flows westwards, but then generally follows a southerly direction.

He receives some nameless streams from both sides. From the west the Graysill Creek opens at 2923  m above sea level . About 600 further downstream the Engine Creek flows from the left and shortly afterwards from the right the E Z Creek . The Pando Creek flows from the west and Camp Creek from the southwest . Below incorporated some unnamed watercourses in the Cascade Creek, which now takes an almost southeastern flow direction and here Million Dollar Highway mentioned US Highway 550 crosses. The stream now flows through a narrow valley into which Mill Creek flows a few hundred meters further downstream from the left .

Not far from the point where a nameless watercourse, whose catchment area includes Scout Lake and several other nameless small lakes and streams, joins the water of Cascade Creek, the watercourse changes direction abruptly and strives south-southeast. Here the valley widens and a little later the Cascade Creek receives the Lime Creek from the east .

The valley eventually narrows again and gradually swings again in a south-easterly direction. After flowing through a narrow valley, Cascade Creek flows southwest of the West Needle Mountains and northeast of the northern tip of Electra Lake into the Animas River .
