Casper Højer Nielsen (born November 20, 1994 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish football player . He is under contract with Aarhus GF . During his active career, the left-back was also used for the Danish youth national teams.

Career

society

Casper Højer Nielsen, whose father Lars had played soccer himself (was under contract with B 1903 Copenhagen and the successor club FC Copenhagen ), was trained in the soccer school of FC Copenhagen. In July 2013 he was awarded within the city to the second division club Brønshøj BK from the Brønshøj district . On July 28, 2013, he completed his first adult game in the 4-1 defeat in the away game in the second Danish division against Silkeborg IF . At Brønshøj BK he was used regularly and after a year he was sold by FCK to Brønshøj's second division competitor Lyngby BK from Lyngby-Taarbæk municipality in the greater Copenhagen area. If he played regularly in his first season - like a year earlier at Brønshøj BK there were 25 appearances - Casper Højer Nielsen played in only nine point games in his second year at Lyngby BK. Nevertheless, he rose with the club in the super league . He hadn't played very often in the House of Lords in Denmark either and after the situation for Højer Nielsen had not improved in his second year in the Danish first division - in his first season in the Superliga he qualified with Lyngby BK for the UEFA Europa League , he joined Aarhus GF in the 2017/18 winter transfer period . He was originally supposed to move to the second largest Danish city for three years in the summer of 2018, but the change followed immediately in February 2018. There Casper Højer Nielsen fought for a regular place and secured relegation with Aarhus GF in the relegation round . On September 16, 2018, he scored his first goal in the adult area in the 2: 3 away game in the first Danish division against AC Horsens with the goal to the final score. Also in the following season, the season 2018/19, Højer Nielsen was a regular player and so far (as of June 26, 2020) he is the first choice for the left-back position.

National team

Casper Højer Nielsen played nine games for the Danish U18 national team from 2011 to 2012, in which he scored three goals. He then played from 2012 to 2013 alongside Yussuf Poulsen, among others, for the Danish U19 team , for which he made six appearances and scored one goal.
