Castelo is a Portuguese municipality ( freguesia ) in the 1st Bairro of the capital Lisbon . It includes the walled courtyard of the Castelo de São Jorge . The municipality was founded in 1147. It is the oldest and with 367 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011) also one of the smallest municipalities in Lisbon.

The administration is located in the Casa do Governador .
