Catalina Maria "Cati" Pol (born October 30, 1981 in Consell ) is a Spanish beach volleyball player .

Career

Pol played with Ester Ribera in 2001 and won the bronze medal at the U23 European Championship in Esposende, Portugal . In 2002 she formed a duo with Ester Alcon . At the European Championships in Basel, the Spaniards were defeated by the Bulgarian Jantschulowa sisters in the third round before they were eliminated on the losing side against the Swiss Kuhn / Schwer . In 2003 they finished ninth at the Osaka Open, but failed in the preliminary round of the World Cup in Rio de Janeiro without winning a set. The next year they had to say goodbye after the preliminary round of the EM in Timmendorfer Strand , although they won in the second game against the group winners Ahmann / Vollmer . After the Open tournament in Rio de Janeiro , they parted ways. In 2005, Pol played alongside Julia Mandana on the FIVB World Tour . In 2006 and 2007 she took part in CEV tournaments with Meritxell Alseda . In 2008 Pol had her last international appearances with Rocío Ruiz .
