Cathrin Böhme (born May 1964 in East Berlin ) is a German journalist and television presenter.

Böhme grew up as the daughter of the chief announcer of GDR television Erika Radtke in East Berlin , graduated from high school in 1982 and then studied at the journalism section of the Karl Marx University in Leipzig . During her studies, she completed a traineeship at GDR television. Later she worked for the German TV broadcaster 2 as a program presenter and editor. Between 1990 and 1991 she was chief presenter at the Brandenburg state television station, which was later called the Ostdeutscher Rundfunk Brandenburg (ORB). At the television station she moderated the program LSB aktuell. She also worked as an editor for News Burda Verlag between 1991 and 1992 . Then she went to RTL breakfast television.

Since 1995 Böhme has been working for the television station Sender Freies Berlin (SFB), which is now Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (RBB). First she moderated the late evening show and from 1997 to September 2, 2018 the main edition of the evening show .

In 2004 she starred in the crime scene An honest skin and in 2010 she played a TV presenter in Hitchcock and Ms. Wernicke .

Böhme has been married since 1984. She has a daughter and two grandsons.
