Cavacurta is a fraction of the community Castelgerundo a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) in the Province of Lodi in the region of Lombardy . The place is at an altitude of 60 meters above sea level.
The municipality of Cavacurta merged with Camairago to form the new municipality of Castelgerundo on January 1, 2018 . The municipality of Cavacurta last had 835 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2016) on an area of around 7.1 km². Neighboring communities were Camairago, Codogno , Maleo and Pizzighettone (CR). Cavacurta bordered the province of Cremona .
