Cecilie Redisch Kvamme (born September 11, 1995 , Norway ) is a Norwegian soccer player who has played for West Ham United and for the Norwegian women's national soccer team since 2019 .
Career
societies
Kvamme played from 2010 for Tertnes in the 4th division and 2012 in the 3rd division. In 2012 she moved to the first division Arna-Bjørnar and played for them in the first team in 2012 at the age of 16, but also in the U-19 team until 2013, and twice in the second team. After three seasons as third in the league, the club fell into the middle of the table in 2015 and was only able to reach third place again in 2018. For the 2019 season, she switched to league rivals IL Sandviken . After the World Cup, there was another change to the English club West Ham United in the FA Women's Super League .
National teams
Kvamme took part with the U-17 team in March 2012 in their home country in the second qualifying round for the 2012 U-17 European Women's Football Championship . The Norwegians could not use the home advantage and lost the decisive game against France 4-0. In July 2014, she had two appearances at the 2014 Women's U-19 Football Championship in her home country, for which the Norwegians were automatically qualified, but failed in the semifinals to Spain. Then she played 18 times for the U-23 team.
On January 22, 2019, at the age of 23, she played for the first time for the Norwegian women's national football team in the 1-0 defeat in La Manga ( Spain ) against Canada . She came on in the 36th minute. In the following first group game of the Algarve Cup 2019 against Denmark , she was then in the starting line-up, but was replaced in the 78th minute. In the second group game against China she was on the field at the start of the game, this time up to the 59th minute. In the final and in the last game before the World Cup squad nomination, it was then not used. On May 2, she was nominated as one of two field players with only three international matches for the 2019 World Cup , in which she was not used.
