Cecilio Fernández Grado (born July 27, 1959 in Mijar ) is a former Spanish biathlete .

Cecilio Fernández was first used in 1981 in Lahti at the biathlon world championships . In the sprint he came in 74th place, was 70th in the individual and with Jose Vega , Manuel García Valinas and Francisco Garcia the Spaniard finished 17th in the relay race. 1982 he was 61st in the individual and 66th in the sprint race in Minsk . The 1983 Biathlon World Championships became Fernández's last World Cup. In Antholz García ran to 71st place in the individual, was 75th in the sprint and with Francisco Garcia, Manuel García and Jose Vega in season 18. The 1984 Olympic Games in Sarajevo , where García and Cecilio Fernández were the first Spaniards to take part in the Olympic biathlon competitions until Luis Alberto Hernando took part in Turin in 2006 , were the final and climax of his career . Fernández came 55th in the sprint and 57th in the individual race. He works for the Guardia Civil .
