Manuel García Valinas (born April 20, 1955 in La Gudiña ) is a former Spanish biathlete .

Manuel García Valinas first took part in the biathlon world championships in Hochfilzen in 1978 and reached 76th place in the individual, 80th in the sprint and with Francisco Garcia , Alfredo Munoz and Francisco Hermoso 21st place in the relay race. In 1979 , in Ruhpolding, 78th place in the individual, 80th in the sprint and with Francisco Hermoso, Francisco Canova and Sanches Pena Juan 19th place in the relay race. After no Spaniards had participated in the Olympic biathlon competitions in 1980 , García was again used in 1981 in Lahti at world championships. In the sprint he came in 69th place, with Jose Vega , Cecilio Fernández and Francisco Carcia the Spaniard finished 17th in the relay race. 1982 he was 64th in the sprint race in Minsk . The 1983 biathlon world championships became the last world championships. In Antholz García ran to 70th place in the singles, was 68th in the sprint and with Francisco Garcia, Cecilio Fernández and Jose Vega season 18. The 1984 Olympic Games in Sarajevo , where García and Cecilio Fernández were the first Spaniards to take part in Olympic biathlon competitions, and until Luis Alberto Hernando took part in Turin in 2006 , the last Spaniards to participate , were the final and climax of his career . Both in the sprint and in the individual he was 56. He works for the Guardia Civil .
