course
Several springs in the Groß Pankow district of Groß Woltersdorf feed the Cederbach, which also flows through the town. In the further course in a south-westerly direction, unnamed trenches flow into the stream from both sides.
The Cederbach then reaches the community of Plattenburg . Here it flows through the next villages Garz, where it crosses under the federal highway 107 , and Hoppenrade. The Cederbach is part of the Hoppenrade Landscape Park, which is a protected garden monument. Here it flows through the dammed swan pond . After passing Viesecke and crossing under the federal highway 5 , the Gansbekgraben flows from the right at Groß Werzin .
Then the Cederbach reaches the border between Plattenburg and Bad Wilsnack . It bends here in an east-southeast direction and follows the border. He draws a semicircle clockwise around the Wilsnacker district of Grube. Several trenches flow from the left, including the Prignitzer Landwehrgraben and Schrepkowgraben . To the south of Grube, the Cederbach continues its way in a westerly direction until it joins the Karthane from the right.
