The Houziyan Dam is a dam under construction on Dadu He in Danba County in the Chinese province of Sichuan . Upon completion, the dam will be 223.5 m high and will hold a reservoir with a normal storage space of around 700 million m³. There will also be a hydropower plant with an output of 1700 MW, consisting of four turbines and generators with 425 MW each. 7.364 billion kWh of electricity will be generated annually.
