Victor Mercer (born November 16, 1980 in Tampa , Florida ), better known as Celph Titled , is an American rapper and record producer who is a member of the Army of the Pharaohs hip-hop group and a member of the Demigodz music group .

biography

Victor Mercer was born in Tampa , Florida and raised in Hillsborough County .

His rap career began in 1993 after he moved to New York City and started as an in-house producer at A&R . In 2005 he was by two-time Grammy Award winner and Linkin Park -member Mike Shinoda invited in the album " The Rising Tied " of the alternative hip-hop - the project Fort Minor participate. This album was produced by Mike Shinoda himself and rap legend Jay-Z .

After working on the mixtape " Fort Minor: We Major " with DJ Green Lantern, Mercer embarked on a nationwide tour with Fort Minor in 2006. Mercer released the album " The Gatalog: A Collection of Chaos, " a 4-disc set of his guest appearances and Freestyles his early releases in 1998 as an official first offering to a thriving fan base who already saw him as a seasoned veteran. After the release of "The Gatalog" and moving to Tampa Mercer worked for three years with the DITC multi-platinum producer Buck Wild on his first album "Nineteen Ninety Now" , which at October 26, 2010 No Sleep Records was published .

On March 5, 2013 the album " Killmatic " by Demigodz was released in which Mercer was executive producer. The Army of the Pharaohs albums " Heavy Lies the Crown ", " Ritual of Battle ", " The Torture Papers ", " Rare Shit, Collabos and Freestyles ", " Heavy Lies the Crown " and " The Unholy Terror " were also released each of which he had numerous appearances and sometimes worked as a producer.
