The Rising Tied is the debut album of the hip-hop project Fort Minor by Linkin Park member Mike Shinoda . It was released in 2005 by the Machine Shop and Warner labels .

content

In contrast to rapping about topics typical of the industry such as women, money or drugs, Shinoda's lyrics go in a completely different direction: in Kenji, for example, he raps about the internment of Japanese-born Americans in World War II .

production

All beats on the album were produced by Mike Shinoda himself. Jay-Z acted as executive producer .

Cover design

The album cover of the standard version shows various comic-like characters and objects on the left. To the right of it are the words Fort Minor and The Rising Tied . On the cover of the Limited version, the Fort Minor logo FM can be seen in large red. Above it is written Fort Minor in black . The title The Rising Tied is in the lower right corner of the picture, the background is white.
