Remember the Name ( English for " Wish you the name is") a song of American hip-hop -project Fort Minor of Linkin Park -member Mike Shinoda . The song was recorded together with the rap group Styles of Beyond and released together with the song Petrified on October 4, 2005 as the first single on the album The Rising Tied in the United States.

It shows Mike Shinoda , Ryan Maginn and Takbir Bashir walking through a bar and recording studio while rapping the lyrics and mostly surrounded by people. These include cameos by Linkin Park members Chester Bennington , Brad Delson and Rob Bourdon as well as Holly Brook and Rob Dyrdek .
In addition, an alternative video was published that was cut from various stunt scenes by unknown people. This consists primarily of scenes from basketball , parkour , skateboarding and motorcycling as well as various jumps. In between you can see Mike Shinoda, Ryan Maginn and Takbir Bashir rapping the text on the microphone.
