The Cerveyrette is a mountain river in France that runs in the Hautes-Alpes department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region . It rises initially under the name Ravin du Ventou near the border with Italy, on the western flank of the Petit Rochebrune mountain peak (3,078 m), in the municipality of Cervières , just outside the Queyras Regional Nature Park . The river generally drains north-west to west and flows into the Durance as a left tributary after 23 kilometers in the southern urban area of Briançon .
