Cha Kum-chol (born July 19, 1987 ) is a North Korean weightlifter .

Career

Cha Kum-chol participated in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing , where he was able to achieve fifth place in the weight class up to 56 kg with a total performance of 283 kg. For North Korea he won the gold medal at the 2007 World Championships with 283 kg.
