Chaby Pinheiro (born January 12, 1873 in Lisbon ; † December 6, 1933 ; actually António Augusto de Chaby Pinheiro ) was a Portuguese actor.

Life

Chaby Pinheiro Theater ( Nazaré)

Pinheiro studied at the Faculdade de Letras of the University of Lisbon . Before graduating, he left college and worked for the Portuguese postal company Correios e Telégrafos .

His artistic career as an actor began with the theater company Rosas & Brasão . On October 10, 1896, he made his debut on the stage of the Teatro Nacional D. Maria II in the play O Tio Milhões . Before he left the stage in 1931, he appeared in the plays Thérèse Raquin by Zola , Nora or Ein Puppenheim by Ibsen or Sua Alteza by Ramada Curto .

In 1930 he made the film Lisboa, Crónica Anedótica . His memoir was published in 1938.
