Chakaureseneb was an ancient Egyptian official around 1790 BC. And thus at the beginning of the 13th dynasty ( Middle Kingdom ). He was the mayor and head of the priesthood on Elephantine Island .

Chakaureseneb was perhaps the son of Mayor Ameni-seneb , who was his predecessor in office, but is not explicitly referred to as the father of Chakaureseneb. The mother of Chakaureseneb was called Satethotep. Chakaureseneb is best known for his activities in the Heqaib sanctuary on Elephantine. There he donated a shrine and two statues . He also carried the titles of member of the elite , foremost in action ( hati-a ), royal sealer and head of priesthood of Khnum .

From Chakaureseneb and Ameni-seneb there on Elephantine seal footprints on one and the same tone cops. Perhaps this shows that they were in office at the same time, which has so far not been further attested for mayors.
