The Chambers River is a river in the north of the Australian territory Northern Territory .

geography

The river has its source on the western slopes of the Black Cap in the southwest of Arnhem Land and flows first about 12 km to the west and then to the southeast. The Chambers River develops a wide flood plain with many parallel canals. Approx. 30 km northeast of Elsey National Park it flows into the Roper River .
