The Chambre de commerce et d'industrie de Strasbourg et du Bas-Rhin (CCI) is the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) of the Bas-Rhin department . It is based at 10 Place Gutenberg in Strasbourg . It is part of the Chambre régionale de commerce et d'industrie d'Alsace , the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Alsace.

history

It was founded in 1802 as the Chambre de Commerce de Strasbourg ( Strasbourg Chamber of Commerce ). From 1911 the Chamber of Commerce elected a member of the first chamber of the Landtag of the Reichsland Alsace-Lorraine in accordance with the constitution of the Reichsland Alsace-Lorraine of May 31, 1911 . The Vice-President of the Chamber, the Strasbourg industrialist Charles Léon Ungemach, was elected . In 1919 the Chamber founded the EM Strasbourg Business School , the city's business school .
