Chang An Airlines ( Chinese 长安 航空 ) is a Chinese airline based in Xi'an and based at Xi'an-Xianyang Airport .
history
Chang An Airlines was founded on December 24, 1992 and began operating on June 1, 1993. The HNA Group owns a 73.51% stake in Chang An Airlines.
On November 30, 2007, it was merged with Hainan Airlines , Shanxi Airlines and China Xinhua Airlines to form Grand China Air . As of May 2013, however, it should be given greater independence again.
