Chaos and Creation at Abbey Road was a concert Paul McCartney gave on July 28, 2005 at Abbey Road Studio 2 , where many of the Beatles' recordings had taken place. The concert was part of the promotion of the album Chaos and Creation in the Backyard , which McCartney had been working on since 2003 and which was released in September 2005.

The film premiered in the United Kingdom on December 17, 2005 on BBC Two and in the United States on February 27, 2006 on PBS .

The concert audience consisted of a few selected studio guests. McCartney played pieces from the new album, but also songs from the Beatles and rock'n'roll classics. Between the tracks, McCartney explained the songs and old recording techniques, playing almost all of the instruments himself, including right- and left-handed guitars, bass, drums, harmonium , mellotron and wine glasses.
