Charles-Auguste-Marie Paty (born February 10, 1916 in Pipriac , † December 31, 2004 ) was Bishop of Pontoise .
Life
Charles-Auguste-Marie Paty was ordained a priest on June 26, 1971 .
Paul VI appointed him on January 3, 1966 auxiliary bishop in Luçon and titular bishop of Tingaria . The Archbishop of Rennes , Paul Gouyon , dedicated it on March 25 of the same year Bishop ; Co -consecrators were Marcel-Pierre-Armand Riopel , auxiliary bishop in Rennes , and Jean-Barthélemy-Marie de Cambourg , bishop of Valence .
The Pope appointed him on 7 December 1966 Coadjutor Bishop of Luçon. After Antoine-Marie Cazaux's resignation , he succeeded him on July 4, 1967 as Bishop of Luçon. On March 25, 1991, John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
