Charles Cheruiyot (athlete, 1964)
Charles Cheruiyot (born December 2, 1964 ) is a retired Kenyan long-distance runner .
Over 5000 m he reached the semifinals at the 1983 World Athletics Championships and was sixth at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. In 1988 he was eliminated in the semifinals of the Seoul Olympics , and in 1989 he won silver at the Universiade .
His twin brother Kipkoech Cheruiyot was successful as a middle distance runner.
