Charles Edgar Schoenbaum
Charles Edgar Schoenbaum (born April 28, 1893 in Los Angeles , California , † January 23, 1951 in Beverly Hills , California) was an American cinematographer.
Life
Schoenbaum began working as a cameraman for Cecil B. DeMille in 1917 and remained active as such until his death in January 1951. He has been involved in more than 100 productions, including films by Victor Fleming in the 1920s .
Together with Robert H. Planck , Schoenbaum was nominated for an Oscar in the category Best Cinematography in 1950 for the film production Kleine brave Jo .
