Wilfried Lingenberg
Wilfried Lingenberg (* 1969 in Darmstadt ) is a German high school teacher , composer , pianist , organist and classical philologist .
Life
Lingenberg grew up in Karlsruhe as the son of the theologian Annegret Lingenberg and the mathematician Rolf Lingenberg . He studied Classics and Mathematics in Bonn and Oxford and worked after graduation to Dr. phil. 2000 in Bonn initially as a management consultant . Today he teaches Latin, mathematics and Greek at the Leibniz-Gymnasium Pirmasens and is a private lecturer in classical philology at the Saarland University .
His compositions have been published by jmk-Verlag Marxzell and copy-us Verlags GmbH Kleve.
As a pianist, Lingenberg has been invited to concerts in Russia, England, France, the Netherlands and the USA and has won prizes at various national and international competitions, e. B. 2009 in Colorado Springs and 2012 at the International Hans-von-Bülow-Competition Meiningen .
The focus of his academic work is on text and authenticity-critical studies of the Roman poet Ovid and his environment, as well as the didactics of ancient languages.
