Charles Gerstenberg

Charles William Gerstenberg (born May 25, 1882 in Brooklyn , New York ; † September 15, 1948 in Setauket , Long Island , New York ) was the co-founder of Prentice Hall , which mainly published specialist books .

With his wife Mary Eleanor he bought a farm in New York State , which he called Marymead Farm. This farm was owned by the family until 1957.

He was also a professor in the law school at New York University . Gerstenberg was also a co-founder of student associations such as Delta Chi , of which he was temporarily chairman.
