Charles M. Hammawa (born October 1, 1962 in Mapeo , Nigeria ) is Bishop of Jalingo .
Life
Charles M. Hammawa was ordained a priest on July 4, 1987 in the Diocese of Yola . He was named bishop of Jalingo on April 16, 2008 . The Archbishop of Jos , Ignatius Ayau Kaigama , consecrated him on July 4th of the same year as bishop; Co- consecrators were Renzo Fratini , Apostolic Nuncio in Nigeria , and James Naanman Daman OSA , Bishop of Shendam .
