James Naanman Daman

James Naanman Daman OSA (born April 10, 1956 in Kwa , Nigeria , † January 12, 2015 ) was a Nigerian religious and Roman Catholic bishop of Shendam .

Life

James Naanman Daman joined the congregation of the Augustinians in and Pope John Paul II. Consecrated him on 14 February 1982 priests .

The Pope appointed him Bishop of Jalingo on December 5, 2000 . The Apostolic Nuncio in Nigeria, Archbishop Osvaldo Padilla , donated him episcopal ordination on February 24 of the following year ; Co- consecrators were Ignatius Ayau Kaigama , Archbishop of Jos , and Christopher Shaman Abba , Bishop of Yola .

On June 2, 2007 he was appointed by Pope Benedict XVI. appointed Bishop of Shendam .
