Charles Wilmot, Earl of Rochester 3. (〰2. January 1670 / 71 in Adderbury , Oxfordshire ; † 12. November 1681 in Woodstock , Oxfordshire) was a British peer .

He was the only son and firstborn of four children of the poet John Wilmot (1647-1680) and Elizabeth Malet Wilmot (1651-1681). When his father died in 1680, he inherited his title of nobility as a minor. In the following year, however, two and a half months after the death of his mother, Charles died, whereby the title became invalid.

He was buried on December 7, 1681 at his father's side at All Saints Churchyard in Spelsbury (Oxfordshire).
