Charlie Bauerfeind
Karl Rudolf "Charlie" Bauerfeind (born May 30, 1963 in Erlangen ) is a German rock journalist , music producer and sound engineer . He has produced numerous well-known Power Metal albums.

Charlie Bauerfeind was born as Karl Rudolf Bauerfeind on May 30, 1963 in Erlangen. At the age of six he began to take piano lessons, and from 1973 he received drum lessons. From 1980 he played as a drummer in various bands and started producing demos for local bands at the age of 18 . After studying music, production and technology at the renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston , which he attended from 1987 to 1989, and various jobs as a production assistant, he has been active as a sound engineer and producer himself since 1989.
