Charles "Charlie" Cole (born June 21, 1986 ) is an American rower .

Life

Cole began rowing at New Canaan High School in 1999. By 2007, he studied at the Yale University and subsequently at Kellogg College of the University of Oxford .

In 2011, he and Julie Nichols were named US Rowing's Athletes of the Year.

At the 2012 Summer Olympics , he competed in a four-man without a helmsman and won a bronze medal. Cole was also part of the American Olympic team four years later, and with the four-man without a helmsman he finished seventh at the 2016 Olympic Games .
