Charlotte Hofmann-Hege
Charlotte Hofmann (born June 30, 1920 as Charlotte Hege ; † June 10, 2012 in Bad Rappenau ) was a German writer .
Life
Charlotte Hege was the daughter of the landlord Hans Hege and his wife Julie nee. Barth and grew up with her brothers, including the later Heilbronn prelate Albrecht Hege , on the Hohebuch domain near Waldenburg . After graduating from high school , she studied rural home economics and ran a teaching company for several years. In 1949 she married the Protestant pastor Helmut Hofmann, with whom she had three children.
Charlotte Hofmann worked in rural adult education. From the 1950s she published as Charlotte Hofmann-Hege stories and images of life that had, among others, her father, her mother and her brother on the subject and mostly in Christian publishing houses such as the Stuttgart- source publishing and the Heilbronner Eugen Salzer-Verlag published .
In her place of residence, Bad Rappenau , she actively participated in cultural life, even after she suffered a stroke in autumn 2004 . On June 15, 2012, she was buried in the Bonfeld cemetery.
