Charlotte Long

Charlotte Helen Long (born October 9, 1965 in Devizes , England , † October 6, 1984 in Oxfordshire , England) was a British actress .

Life

Long was born the youngest daughter of Margaret Frances Frazer and the politician Richard Gerard Long, a British peer from Wiltshire . She attended several schools in Bradford-on-Avon before devoting herself to acting.

Long played the role of Alison in the television productions Schoolgirl Chums and St. Ursula's in Danger as well as the role of Rosemary in the film A Move Rarely Comes from 1984. Her most famous role, however, was that of Eloise de Ricordeau in the television series The Three Legged Rulers . Here she played the daughter of a French nobleman in three episodes of the first season.

Just three weeks after filming The Three Legged Rulers , Long died of a car accident. A truck drove into the vehicle on the hard shoulder on the M4 Motorway because the driver of the truck was sneezing. While her passenger sustained only minor injuries, Long succumbed to her injuries after three days.
