Chaska Township until his reunion with Chaska in 2005, an administrative district in Carver County , Minnesota , USA . According to a census in 2000, the place had 154 inhabitants.

Population statistics
According to a 2000 census, there were 154 people in 65 households and 46 families in the county. The population density was 20.8 people per square kilometer and the house density was 8.9 houses per square kilometer. Only whites lived in Chaska Township. 72.5% of them were German , 7.9% Irish and 7.9% Norwegian .
30.8% of the 65 households had children under the age of 18, 60.0% were married, 7.7% lived together without a marital relationship and 29.2% were non-families. There were people living alone in 29.2% of households . On average, 2.91 people lived in one household.
23.4% minors , 6.5% 18 to 25-year-olds, 31.8% 25 to 44-year-olds, 22.7% 45 to 64-year-olds and 15.6% people who were 65 years of age lived in the district were. On average, every citizen was 40 years old.
Merging with Chaska
As a result of the steady expansion of the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metropolitan area , Chaska Township was merged with Chaska . The county was dissolved on February 11, 2005. Currently being planned, from 2,4 of the former district, nearly half of a project called "Heights of Chaska" km² (to German levels Chaskas ) to give rise. The project includes the construction of houses, convenience stores, parks and a primary school . The project is led by the Metropolitan Council, the Senate for Tourism in the United States.
