The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding ( Chinese  成都 大熊貓 繁育 研究 基地  /  成都 大熊猫 繁育 研究 基地 , Pinyin Chéngdū Dàxióngmāo fányù Yánjiū Jīdì , German research station for the rearing of the giant panda Chengdu ) is a non-profit breeding and research facility for giant pandas and other endangered species. The facility is located in Chengdu in the province of Sichuan in the People's Republic of China .

The facility was founded in 1987 with six giant pandas rescued in the wild. The hatchery has the largest population of artificially bred giant pandas. In 2015 it was 115 animals.
