The Chepelare Peak ( Bulgarian връх Чепеларе wrach Tschepelare ) is an approximately 900 m high mountain on the Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . In the Friesland Ridge of the Tangra Mountains, it rises 0.87 km south of St. Methodius Peak , 1.2 km southeast of Tervel Peak and 0.64 km north of Shumen Peak . The Charity Glacier is to the west of it, the Prespa Glacier to the southeast.
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named the mountain in 2002 after the town of Chepelare in southern Bulgaria .
